California Proposition 65 Warning or Prop 65 Disclosure
California Proposition 65 Warning
What is Proposition 65?
California’s Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires businesses to notify Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
This warning is required for products that contain any of the over 900 chemicals listed by the State of California, even in very small amounts.
Why am I seeing this warning?
We include this warning on products to comply with California law and to ensure our customers are fully informed—even if the risk is very low or exposure is minimal.
